Work Assignments at Auschwitz
Mrozek,
who received prisoner number 103137 at Auschwitz, was assigned to the construction
office (Baubüro) because of his drafting
skills. There, he worked with fellow
prisoner and artist Marian Ruzamski.
Art Produced at Auschwitz
Mrozek
filled a sketch pad with 23 portraits, that included one of Xawery Dunikowski
and one of Mrozek by Ruzamski.
Death at
Litomőřice
Mrozek was
killed in spring of 1945 during the evacuation of the Flossenbürg subcamp at
Litomőřice.
